Care & UseCleaning & Repair ServicesQuaker Safety is an ETL Verified Independent Service Provider (ISP). This verification allows Quaker Safety to perform cleaning and repair services on all brands of structural and proximity turnout gear. All services are performed by skilled operators utilizing the same quality materials and processes used to manufacture new garments and will not compromise the original manufacturer’s construction. Quaker Safety provides rapid lead times on the following care services: ADVANCED INSPECTION - As required by NFPA 1851 at a minimum of every 12 months or whenever routine inspections indicate that a problem could exist, Quaker Safety examines all layers and components to identify recommended repairs COMPLETE LINER INSPECTION - As required by NFPA 1851 at a minimum after three years in service and annually thereafter or whenever advanced inspections indicate a problem might exist, Quaker Safety evaluates the thermal liner for thin spots and the moisture barrier for waterproofness ADVANCED AND SPECIALIZED CLEANING - As required by NFPA 1851 at the time of advanced inspection if not subjected to advanced cleaning in the preceding 12 months, Quaker Safety cleans structural and proximity gear using carefully selected solutions and our special cleaning process REPAIRS - Quaker Safety performs basic and advanced repairs, alterations, retrofits, and customizations. Regular repairs will help to extend the useful life of your gear Quaker Safety preforms a thorough inspection after each advanced cleaning to identify damaged, torn, broken or missing components requiring repair or replacement.
